West Green Place, Harringey

project overview

The London Borough of Haringey granted planning permission for the development of West Green Place, a scheme masterplanned by HTA on behalf of innovative affordable housing developer Pocket Living.

The design proposals involve demolition of the existing single storey buildings on the site, the provision of a new community centre and nursery and 126 new homes.  Of these homes 98 will be sold at a discount of 20% from the market rate using Pocket’s unique model.

Within this range of Pocket homes are 5 larger two bedroom flats, a first for a Pocket development.  Through creative and flexible layouts these homes have a reduced footprint which enables them to be sold at the same discounted rate of 20%. In addition there are 12 two bedroom flats for sale at full market value and 16 three bedroom townhouses ensuring that the new development benefits from a diverse community that accommodates families.

Parmarbrook were commissioned to undertake civil & structural design works in August 2016.
