The building’s roofs are all chalk grassland biosolar green roofs to aid biodiversity, thermal efficiency, reduced rainwater runoff and capture renewable energy.
The structural frame is steelwork and composite floors, supported on a system of pile caps and beams. Heavy steel transfer structures were required at first floor level for the commercial and communal areas. Existing basement walls were retained where possible.
