Scope:
New build

The nursery and community centre mark the entrance to the new West Green Place development. The building opens up and activates a new public square, shared between the vistors, residents and wider community. The simple and elegant form sets the stage for playful interventions. Conceived as a building with four equal façades, its understated presence is complemented by a set of generous canopies, providing a range of different outdoor spaces for the nursery.

Large windows and doors provide triple aspect rooms for the nursery at the ground floor and the community centre hall at first floor. Large curved canopies break the regularity of the façade and create a diversity of outdoor areas.
